The $10 Indian Gold Eagle was the last design released in the US Eagle $10 denomination. The imagery on these coins was available from 1907 to 1916 on an annual basis, with only five dates struck from 1916 to 1933. In this 8-Coin Rare Date Set, you will receive a total of eight coins dated between 1908 and 1916. There are six San Francisco Mint coins with S mint marks in this set and two Denver Mint coins with D mint marks.

Included in the set are some of the rarest gold coins from the Indian Gold Eagle release. Among them, the 1908-S With Motto is one of the rarest from this series. It was one of the lowest-minted coins in the entire Indian Gold Eagle Series and has just 1,800 surviving specimens today. Another exceptional example in the set is the 1908D No Motto coin, one of the last issues of the $10 Indian Gold Eagle without the national motto of In God We Trust engraved on the coins.

On the obverse of Pre-33 $10 Indian Gold Eagle Coins in this 8-Coin Rare Set is an effigy of Lady Liberty. This effigy of Liberty captures her figure wearing a feathered headdress with 13 stars over her head. The reverse side of the coins in the Pre-33 $10 Indian Gold Eagle 8-Coin Rare Date Set features the image of an American bald eagle resting on a sheaf of arrows. Seven of the coins have the national motto of IN GOD WE TRUST inscribed, while the 1908-D No Motto does not. The coins have either D mint marks from the Denver Mint or S mint marks from the San Francisco Mint on the reverse.

These Pre-33 $10 Indian Gold Eagle 8-Coin Rare Date Sets come with individual flips for each coin. All coins are in Extremely Fine+ condition. These coins have light wear on the highest points only with some traces of mint luster still present. Each coin in this set is rare in its own right. You will find the 1908-S With Motto, 1908-D No Motto, 1910-S, 1911-S, 1913-S, 1914-D, 1914-S, and 1916-S coins in this set.
