The Black Bull of Clarence is the fourth coin to debut in the Proof Queen’s Beast Series of coins. The proof range debuted in 2017, after the 2016 debut of the bullion coins in the series. Notably, the issue of proof coins in this collection has followed a different order than the bullion options. The Black Bull of Clarence comes fourth in proof but was the fifth release in the bullion series.

On the reverse of the 2018 10 oz Proof British Silver Queen’s Beast Black Bull Coin is the design of the Black Bull of Clarence and the royal shield most commonly associated with the era of this heraldic beast’s use. The powerful bull stands behind a quartered shield which features the three golden lilies of France in two quadrants and three gold lions in the other two quadrants.
